Delian Ruler

  • Finding the doubled size of a cube or any shape inscribed by a circle or sphere with the same shape is known as the Delian Problem. The Volume Doubling Ruler converts sizes to integral Doubling Numbers, referenced to n30 = 1 cc. This equals the n20 of cross-sectional Area Doubling and n10 of Radius (Diameter) Doubling. Note 4 x Area = Surface Area. This gives the 1-2-3-4 of doubling. Inspired by US Patents on Tumor Stability for comparison of the 3 major Response Criteria: RECIST, WHO, and Cheson. The Time Interval divided by the change in n gives tumor doubling time (or halving time, response velocity).
